My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made in weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9
2 Corinthians 12:9
Kim Watt has been married to her husband for the past 15 years. Although, they have a healthy marriage today, this wasn’t always the case. Since they both decided to dedicate their life to the Lord, their marriage has been transformed.
Together, they have four children ages 12, 10, 7 and 2 years old. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a BA in Communications/Public Relations two weeks before her second child was born. Five years ago, Kim was hosting her own radio show, appeared on PBS, and traveled the United States, England and Germany as a professional speaker while still having the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. However, God shut those doors and took her on a whole new adventure. She is now home educating her four children, which she is passionate about helping parents know and understand the different education choices and how to build strong relationships within families. Kim Loves the Lord, her husband, children and the life God has given her. Life hasn’t always been easy and has experienced many heartaches. However, through it all God has always been there and faithful even during the hard times. The scripture above is what she lives by because without God’s grace and mercy she wouldn’t be where and who she is today. She enjoys learning more about organic living, alternative medicine and implanting this lifestyle into her family. Laughing, looking for opportunity, seeing the positive in life instead of negative, unorganized, technically challenged, loses everything, and has been called a modern day Lucy Ricardo from the television program “ I love Lucy” because of her corky and dingy ways and has an appetite for history is what makes Kim unique. Even though she has a zest for life, she still deals her own insecurities, past mistakes and self-doubt that at times leave her handicapped with fear unable to want to look in the mirror. Thankfully, God sees’ her completely different, which is what keeps the fire burning and wakes her up every single day to live the call he has placed on her life. She is far from perfect and doesn’t try to be. She just wants to be used by God and help encourage, inspire and heal other women by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and teaching the Word of God. |
